A friend of mine's son just shot an absolute monster in Tioga county WITH A RECURVE.This is the real deal and is potentially a new state record typical.Well done Cory.

That is a great buck! And he don't need no stinkin' training wheels or scope. I hope it is a new record. Congratulations to the hunter.

I lived in Tioga county for a few years. I killed a few archery bucks there but never even heard of one close to that size. What a buck. I'm not into the whole scoring thing but I would like to know what that one ends up scoring.

Seeing how this is on Facebook I’ll share it here.
For those of us on here who love giant public land bucks, this is what we dream of. And to do it with traditional gear to boot. I talked with Cory through text and he tells me this thing scores 192 and has 32" main beams. I shouldn't have any trouble staying composed with my dink shooters now. Lol
Denny Gulvas My Son Cory was able to take the "buck of a lifetime" on Friday. Hunting on public land in the mountainous region of Tioga County, he was able to arrow this magnificent giant with his Traditional Recurve Bow. Cory has a little history with this old buck finding just a couple of his sheds from past years. Never once able to lay eyes on the very elusive buck, he was able to capture a few trail cam pictures of him, all coming only during the dead of night. To even have an opportunity to "see" such a magnificent trophy like this here in Pa. would be incredible. Arrowing him at18 yards with a recurve bow is truly amazing! I am so proud of Cory and all his hard work and solid dedication to anything he attempts... As you can see, daughter Lily is more than a little excited for her Daddy as well. Well done Cory!

Those numbers could be exactly right on but am I seeing a non-typical right beam? Looks like a 6x5 with some sort of double tine on the right side.,,? Like I said, it may not be that way and from the picture it is hard to tell, but I can't see 190+ in the view shown. Nothing gonna take away from it being a great, world class buck though. Congratulations to the hunter.
