Since the season has began, I have never seen so many people fishing daily. I know folks are laid off and school canceled is the reason, but the pellet heads will disappear faster than in the past. Warm water species will open soon and take some of the pressure off the trout steams and lakes but transfer the pressure to the walleye, pike, pickerel and bass. Thoughts? JM
Do it today, tomorrow may never come!
Science is observation. Observation is science. Accurate recording of observation is provable science.
Yep....ton's of folks out enjoying the magnificent outdoors!! Was over at Lake Redman/Williams last week & prolly saw well over 100 there fishing. Many families with kids who's schools are closed. Between 2 lakes miles of shoreline to fish with all keeping more than enuff distancing. Also, quite a few boats on the water. Crappie fishing was pretty good slowly working jigs along the riprap along Hess Farm Road. Water's still pretty cold so crappies not really too active yet. Kept 6 slabs for the frypan. Meats really sweet/firm coming out of the cold water. Soon be doing some Sully County trout while at camp with Spring Gobbler's opening soon coming up!!
