Yup. We also got a power outage. I had a transfer box hooked up to my house this summer. The electrician made me this massive 4-prong hook-up cord (thick as a brick) and told me "I was all set." Well.....I figured I give it the test today......only to find out my generator output is 3 prong (which I knew) but the hook up cord is 4 prong.....each end. (Whomp, Whomp!)
Just ordered an adapter from eBay to make it work. Power is suppose to be back on by noon. Hooking up to internet via IPhone hot spot.

Just came in from plowing the driveway about an hour ago. We have about 8" and I was going to wait until the state plow came through so I wouldn't have to get rid of what they pushed in from the road. It's a wet, heavy mess. On the bright side it Feb 7th and this is the first time I've had to plow this winter.
