Well, catching at flight to Austin, Texas to visit my daughter for a few days. By the looks of the forecast, 104 degrees every day, there seems to be a place in hell for me. Lol
We are going to a Bryan White concert near Houston Saturday nite. He was one of our favorite country stars back in the 90s. He is at a small venue there. My daughter saw him in St Louis last year and got to speak with him. So, I'm pretty happy to see him again.
Then, on Tuesday, north to Denver to see Rocky mountain national Park. Was there in the 90s, just gorgeous. Can't wait.
Denver is a wonderful place. If you can......take a car ride from Denver to Colorado Springs....not on the highway .....but on the route that will go thru the mountains and right along side the Platt River. Absolutely beautiful country. Bring your fly rod!!! Trout as big as draft horses!!!!
Well, this was the day from hell. 10 minutes before we got to the Philly airport, Frontier texted that the flight was cancelled. Traffic down there was a nightmare. Anyway, frontier paid for our tickets to fly from Harrisburg to Austin Saturday morning. Then, I was supposed to bring frontier from Denver to Philly, and they changed that to Harrisburg as well, no charge. Left the house here at 10 am, got back about 6:30. Did I say the traffic was a nightmare??? So, we get to Austin at noon, then have to be near Houston for a concert by 6:30 or so, then back to Austin, to catch up on sleep...
