I fail to see the overall positive in this. A few are happier, way more pizzed off according to the PC poll. Again. Just because one opposes a new proposal does not mean that they will also be pissed off that the vote didn't go their way. Some votes have not gone my way and I was never pissed off about any of them. I either accepted them, went on with my life, or worked to change the outcome at a later point. Yes, there will be some that are truly pissed off about this change. Especially those with family obligations, but the reality is most probably will accept it and move on. Other will work to get it changed.

You are only quoting the polls that favor your position ...dig a little deeper and you will find many in favor of the Saturday opener. Just sayin' CleoW I'm retired and hunt near my home. This does not effect me in any way, so I don't have a "position" . As I said, I fail to see the overall positive in this move. Time will tell.

I am not pizzed about it, it doesn't effect me at all other than loosing a day of Turkey hunting. I do agree that most will accept it and move on.

They've told people they are not the future of the sport, and in doing so have said their opinion doesn't matter any more. That's the damage done.

I will except it, nothing I can do about it, that I haven't already done. Heck I'm still mad about, and hate the Saturday bear opener, and that was like 8 years ago. Without Sunday hunting it makes no sense, same with deer. I'm not in favor of Sunday either, but it's coming, and will have no problem excepting. I've stated before, and will again, If we need or want a Saturday start, moved it to the first Saturday in December. The Saturday after Thanksgiving was and is, just plain stupid.

Yes sir, a ten dollar rifle deer tag otta be a great hunter retention and recruitment PR move. After all, it worked for the pheasant hunters. 🤪 Do you support a license increase?

I don't want to have to pay another ten dollars for a deer stamp unless it is for an additional buck. I buy the general lic and pay extra for an archery stamp that does not allow me to to take any additional game. The only way I would support an increase is if All the money is used for law enforcement The pheasant stamp is completely different than adding an additional expense for native, unstocked game.

We're not gon'a hear anything Fleroo. This is all about "show". ('Cause they know the majority are against it) The Commissioners did their thing and they're proud of it. They did it for the "good of hunting"...They know... Right??? And now we, the hunters, well h*#ll, we'll just eat it like we always do... Same old game.

Well, has anybody heard how the boards "study" is going recently ? The study part hasn't started yet. That will be after the conclusion of the next hunting season. I would also guess that they would give this a couple of years at least to get some data.

It only took the Board 5 months to decide they should do it, so 1 year should be enough to judge the effectivness.

Many more years than many of the regulatory changes that have been made. I know, you hate it when facts mess up your lack of objectivity...............

This discussion has been occurring for many years among the commissioners. Many more years than many of the regulatory changes that have been made. I know, you hate it when facts mess up your lack of objectivity............... You are the spinmaster And you are the ostrich with your head in the sand saying la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la ,la................ Doesn't matter what truths are out there, you don't want to hear them............................ Of course if you acknowledged them you would have to admit you were wrong, which is something you are incapable of doing.
